Crimson Tide QB and Heisman hopefuls partner with Improbable Media for 360° media and branding.

NEW YORK AND TUSCALOOSA, Ala.-Improbable Media, a media firm that empowers athletes to be the driving force behind their own stories, announced today the addition of its first athlete partner, Jalen Milroe, a University of Alabama quarterback.

Improbable will work closely with Milroe as his exclusive content and production business, as well as the brand strategist of record. The relationship will be centered on ensuring Milroe’s long-term career success both on and off the field.

“Joining the Improbable Media family is a game changer for me,” says Milroe. “Being a collegiate athlete in this new world of NIL presents more opportunities but also problems, so it’s critical to have the appropriate team behind me. “I’m excited to learn, grow, and expand my own brand with Improbable.”

Milroe is starting his senior season at the University of Alabama, where he led the Crimson Tide to a 12-1 record and the SEC Championship as a junior. He was selected MVP of the conference championship game against the then-number-one University of Georgia. Jalen received his business administration degree in December. He is from Katy, Texas, and both of his parents have served in the United States military.

“When I first met Jalen in Tuscaloosa, there was an instant connection and common ground,” recalls Williams, Improbable Media co-founder and former Duke collegiate basketball National Champion and All-American who walked in Milroe’s footsteps.

“All of us at Improbable are energized by the opportunity to closely collaborate with Jalen and so impressed with how he goes about his business.”

Last year, Jalen Milroe, his teammate Terrion Arnold, and Alabama Football introduced LANK – “Let a Naysayer Know,” which has since become one of the most talked-about mantras in collegiate sports.

Improbable will seek to create intrinsic value for Jalen based on a word for which he and Terrion have filed a trademark application, as well as to expand the new dynamic within the growing environment of college/semiprofessional sports.

LANK has become Alabama’s rallying cry, and the two teammates have negotiated a license arrangement for products with each player’s name and number, providing a potential to generate cash based on their name and likeness. the original intent of NIL.

“While Jalen’s incredible athletic accomplishments are well-known, we’re equally excited about the opportunity to highlight Jalen’s off-field story,” says Jessica Lindell, Improbable Media’s Brand Partnerships Director.

“At Improbable, we always prioritize producing honest and interesting content. This commitment ensures that collaborations align with both the brand’s and the athlete’s goal, resulting in tremendous impact. Improbable is backed by Verance Capital and GPS Investment Partners, with additional funding from Williams.
