Bad Boys Franchise Hits $1 Billion At The Global Box Office

"Bad Boys: Ride or Die" has surpassed $1 billion at the global box office.

It earned $79.24 million in its first week in the US and $104 million worldwide.

Will Smith return  alongside Martin Lawrence proved popular, despite  Will's past controversies.

It is directed by Adil El  Arbi and Bilall Fallah, it revived the franchise  after recent box office disappointments.

It received high praise  from audiences (97% on Rotten Tomatoes) and positive reviews from critics.

"Bad Boys for Life," the previous installment, grossed over $425  million worldwide  before the pandemic.

This movie is one of the best of the year, and it gave the summer box office a great headstart.

The film's success comes amid a trend favoring streaming over traditional theatrical releases.
