Wall Street Newspaper – India – Pak: China suggested to Pakistan about the India-Pak ceasefire during a high-level call

Pakistan’s foreign minister Ishaq Dar had a crucial discussion with his Chinese colleague Wang Yi on Sunday following the proclamation of a truce and the escalation of military tensions between India and Pakistan.

During the social media conversation that Dar said was centered on the changing regional landscape in the wake of India-Pakistan’s military tensions, China reiterated its unwavering support for Pakistan’s sovereignty, territorial integrity, and national independence.

The Chinese minister also commended Pakistan’s reasonable and restrained approach to the crisis.

Both presidents acknowledged the necessity of keeping tight communication and coordination throughout the changing circumstances with India, referring to the two nations as “ironclad friends” and “all-weather strategic cooperative partners.”

As the situation in the area develops further, they decided to maintain constant communication in the coming days, Dar wrote on X.
