Spotlight on Bini: A New Addition to Forbes '30 Under 30 Asia'

PHILIPPINE pop trio Bini topped the list of Filipinos named to Forbes’ “30 Under 30 Asia” list for 2025, which highlights entrepreneurs, inventors, and rising stars in the area who are revolutionizing their industries.

The annual list, now in its tenth year, includes 300 honorees under the age of 30 in ten categories: Artificial Intelligence (AI); Consumer and Enterprise Technology; Entertainment and Sports; Finance and Venture Capital; Health Care and Science; Industry, Manufacturing, and Energy; Retail and e-commerce; Social Impact; Social Media, Marketing, and Advertising; and The Arts (Art, Style, and Food).

This year’s list was compiled from over 4,500 nominations and includes personalities from 20 Asia-Pacific countries and territories.

“In this landmark 10th edition of the Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia list, we celebrate a decade of exceptional talent and innovation by highlighting a new generation of entrepreneurs and young leaders who exemplify resilience and creativity as they battle tougher business conditions,” said Rana Wehbe Watson, Forbes Asia editorial director and Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia editor.

“Many companies are utilizing AI to improve their value propositions and attract investors in industries such as health care and finance.

Others are establishing specialty firms geared at a local consumer base as global trade remains unclear,” Watson stated.

Bini, branded the “Nation’s Girl Group,” has received accolades for their breakout success in the past year. Forbes Asia cited milestones such as a sold-out concert at the Philippine Arena in February, an upcoming world tour, multimillion Spotify streams, and awards such as Best Asia Act at the MTV Europe Music Awards, Billboard K Power 100’s Voices of Asia, and Billboard Philippines Women of the Year.

“We are truly honored and grateful to @forbesasia for this recognition and for giving us a platform to share our story to the world,” Bini wrote on her social media account.

Other Filipino awardees this year include food sustainability advocate Anna Beatriz Suavengco, chess prodigy Daniel Quizon, medical doctor Jasper Ruby Vijar, financial technology entrepreneur Raya Buensuceso, illustrator Renren Galeno, and venture investor Ysabel Chua.

This year’s roster also includes Korean singer, actress, and model Cha Eun-woo; K-pop band Stray Kids; up-and-coming Singaporean singer-songwriter Shazza; and Korean Chef Sungjun Kwon, winner of Netflix’s “Culinary Class Wars”.
