Mike Tyson Fight With Jake Paul Postponed

Mike Tyson's fight with Jake Paul has been postponed after Tyson fell ill on a flight last weekend.

The new fight date will be announced next week, but the original date was set for July 20 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington.

Tyson's illness occurred on a flight from Miami to Los Angeles and was attributed to an ulcer problem.

Medical professionals have recommended Tyson engage in minimal to light training for the next few weeks before resuming full training.

Tyson, who last fought professionally in June  2005, has been training regularly and had an exhibition fight with Roy Jones Jr. in Nov 2020.

Tyson stated that his body is in better shape than it has been since the 1990s and he plans to return to full training soon.

Tyson expressed confidence in defeating Jake Paul, promising an unforgettable performance later this year.

Tickets already purchased for the fight at AT&T Stadium will be honored on the rescheduled date.

Jake Paul has supported the postponement to ensure Tyson is at his best on fight night.

Paul assured his fans he would be ready for a sensational finish when  he finally steps into the  ring with Tyson.
