Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are now engaged, marking the latest milestone in one of pop culture’s most closely followed love stories.
Aug 26 via an Instagram post that featured multiple photos of the pop singer and her NFL player partner standing in a garden after Kelce proposed.
The “Cruel Summer” artist captioned the post “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married,” followed by a firecracker emoji.

Vogue reported that the post also featured a detailed photograph of Swift’s ring, crafted by Kelce in collaboration with Kindred Lubeck of Artifex Fine Jewellery. The ring showcases a brilliant-cut diamond set in a gold bezel.
The post also contained the song “So High School,” capturing Swift’s nostalgic sentiments about a youthful romance. The lyrics include the lines “You know how to ball / I know Aristotle.”
The couple first raised dating suspicions when the Kansas City Chiefs tight end revealed that he had tried, but failed, to offer the singer a friendship bracelet with his phone number on it during her July 2023 Eras Tour stop in Kansas City, Missouri.
In a July 2023 episode of the New Heights podcast, Kelce said, “I was disappointed that she doesn’t talk before or after her shows because she has to save her voice for the 44 songs that she sings.” “I was a little disappointed that I couldn’t give her one of the bracelets I had made for her.”
