Dolphins Assistant Coach Ryan Crow in Legal Trouble

Dolphins Assistant Coach Ryan Crow in Legal Trouble

According to Broward County records, Ryan Crow, the coach of the Miami Dolphins’ outside linebackers, was arrested on Friday and charged with domestic violence and battery.

Currently unknown are specifics of the Fort Lauderdale, Florida, incident that resulted in the arrest. The Dolphins say that Crow has been put on administrative leave.

Crow, 37, spent six seasons with the Tennessee Titans before joining the Dolphins in January 2024. He interviewed for the defensive coordinator position with the New England Patriots earlier this year, but Terrell Williams was hired instead.

Crow played linebacker at Bowling Green before joining the NFL as a coach. He also held coaching positions at Florida, Purdue, Baldwin Wallace, and Ohio State.

Crow didn’t have much time to work with Bradley Chubb or Jaelan Phillips during his rookie season with the Dolphins because both of them were dealing with severe injuries.

However, Chop Robinson, a 2024 first-round pick, developed throughout the season and became one of the NFL’s most effective pass rushers in the second half.
